Annotation

The article presents proposals for regulating the use of generative artificial intelligence tools in qualification papers of undergraduate and graduate students majoring in «Linguistics» and «Pedagogical Education». The employed approach relies on the authors’ methodological experience accumulated in the course of work with students at the Institute of Foreign Languages, Moscow City University. The proposed methodological solutions make the first step in comprehending and structuring students’ activities on practical employment of generative artificial intelligence tools in the preparation of qualification papers in the field of linguistics and linguodidactics.
