Annotation

The article presents a review of theses and scientific manuscripts that reflect the evolving aspects of functional grammar, cognitive and comparative studies, comparative lexicology, translation studies, comparative terminology, comparative linguistic pragmatics. The theoretical framework proves relevant due to the new trends emerging and developing in the field of studying similarities and differences of linguistic units. It is proved that the theory of language comparison and matching served as the basis for identifying general and specific features of linguistic phenomena, representing a variety of concepts objectivized.
