Annotation
The premise of this work is the upcoming anniversary of Prof. Natalia V. Yazykova, an honored teacher of the Russian Federation, and honorary professor of Buryat State University. The research aims to present the methodological school of Buryat State University as the result of Prof. Yazykova’s methodological (re)interpretation. There is a range of methods employed to exemplify the conceptual-methodological cognitive development of the teacher and mentor in fulfilling their mission such as the following: inductive-analytical, descriptive, statistical, prognostic methods, analysis of time series, mixing and data integration. The result of the research is the author’s concept of the structure and directions of N. V. Yazykova’s conceptual-methodological evolution (CME) and her methodological school, actualized at 9 levels. The paper emphasizes that the indexing of the CME development cycle/step/level is relative: it is determined by the parameterization of the aspect and sphere of activity involved in the educational-scientific-methodological process, the change of methodological horizon, and going beyond the content of the given specialty. To explicate
the trajectory of CME, there is an original hypothesis put forward concerning the interdependence of progressive evolution of scientific-methodological knowledge of the subject as a whole and theoretical justification of the professional practical activity of a great scientist, and the corresponding reference list of their works with highly frequent nominations in the titles of works indicating the author’s professional sphere of scientific activity. The conclusions reveal the hierarchy of accumulative activity directions carried out by the professor: mentor for students – for teachers of his faculty – for colleagues from other faculties of the university – for graduate students – for teachers of secondary schools – for the pedagogical community of the Republic of Buryatia. The hierarchy illustrates the culmination of N. V. Yazykova’s methodological (re)interpretation in terms of methodology teaching and proves the fact that there has been a methodological school established at Buryat State University.
