Annotation
The relevance of the research is due to its entry into the circle of linguistic, cultural and semantic research, which identifies cultural codes that represent one or another
aspect of human existence in the world of an artistic work. The purpose of the study is to study the functioning of vocabulary with the semantics of natural and climatic phenomena (the so-called natural element vocabulary) in two aspects: firstly, as a way of representing the Bacchanalian state (using the example of the use of the lexemes fog, lightning, black hole, etc.); secondly, as a way of describing the emotional experiences of the hero, in which natural element vocabulary interacts with Bacchanalian.
The main research methods are semantic and linguistic stylistic analysis of linguistic units. The material for the study was a selection of examples extracted from texts of Russian fiction, which contain vocabulary with the semantics of natural and climatic phenomena. The novelty of the material is seen in the fact that the situation of wine drinking has not previously been considered from the point of view of the manifestation of the semantics of the natural meteorological code of culture in it, at the same time, natural and climatic phenomena have not been studied from the point of view of the manifestation of the Bacchanalian code of culture in them.
As a result of the research, the author comes to the conclusion that phenomena such as fog, storm, wind, lightning, black hole are used in describing a person’s alcoholic state and affect his emotional, intellectual and physiological changes. It is noted that the semantics of the Bacchanalian code can be manifested to explicate the natural forces of nature, humanize them and liken them to human behavior. The ambivalence of the evaluation of the described vocabulary in the world of an artistic work is also shown.
