Annotation
The current directions of the development of the German language in Germany are considered: on the one hand, the interaction of linguistic forms of communication
within the framework of the expansion of the English language into the German language as the formation of polylingualism, on the other hand, the historically established prerequisites for polylingualism based on the coexistence of native speakers of German and Turkish in the country. The German language today is a heterogeneous form of language existence, in which the characteristics of polylinguism and polylingualism are simultaneously revealed, and the polylingualism represented by a special form of communication «Denglish» differs from another equally relevant form of «Kitzdeutsch», considered as a pidgin. There is a need to clarify the content of the concepts of Pidgin, Creole, contaminated, or hybrid language in order to identify the formats of the implementation of the German language as a means of communication in Germany. The article pays special attention to Denglish as a form of multilingualism. Illustrative material is provided, which confirms the provisions discussed in the article. Using the example of the German language, multilingualism testifies to new and, as it seems, irreversible linguistic processes in Germany.
