THE MOTIF OF LONELINESS IN J. GREEN’S NOVEL «PAPER TOWNS»

Annotation

The article describes typical features of the motif loneliness in the novel «Paper Towns» by a famous American writer John Green. The main characters, images and symbols of the novel were considered to get specific constituent parts of the motif under study. The analysis shows that it is realized in the novel emphasizing such aspects of loneliness as isolation, seclusion and abandonment.
