Annotation

The paper presents the description of a personal library perceived as an example of cognitive and communicative space, that has a significant impact on creative and philosophical consciousness. The study reveals that the library of French renaissance writer, philosopher, and humanist Michel Montaigne is a channel of mediated intercultural communication as well as of diachronic interaction of world’s perceptions.
