Annotation
The semantic structure of the poem «To Her» (1817) by Alexandre Pushkin relies on the conscious use of various types of intertextd in interaction with the poetic texts of his contemporaries — Konstantin Batyushkov and Vasilij Zhukovsky: roll calls, reminiscences, allusions, quotes and other forms of semantic correspondence. The poem sees the concentration of subtext meanings growing dramatically throughout the poem, integrating itinto the wide poetic context of the Russian elegiac school. The double focus
of the lyrical dialogue with Batyushkov and Zhukovsky becomes a conscious poetic strategy for Pushkin in 1817 and results in the genre of new elegy emerging in his lyrics to focus on poet’s mission and the attitude to his own poetic gift.
