Annotation
French verbal intensifiers semantics, campatibility and functioning in the text are examined. 3000 tokens from modern dramatic and prosaik works of French authors were
analyzed. The obtained results reveal systematic organization of linguistic means expressing the intensity of action. It has been established that intensifiers are organized into lexical-semantic paradigms, however their exact lexical-semantic verb group identity was not proved, therefore, they are not gramaticalized (grammatized).
