Annotation

The article shows the parameters and features of systems for identifying and describing the levels of foreign languages proficiency. The authors describe the grounds that predetermine the parameters of the levels, emphasize the national specifics of the concept of levels, developed in a particular country. A benchmark system (standard) for the development of nationally determined levels of proficiency in foreign languages has been identified.
