Annotation
The article regards M. Kruszewski's linguistic views in the aspect of naturalistic conception of language. The article touches upon the following issues: language as a living being, linguistics as a natural science, thought-language correlation, language and dialects, natural selection and struggle for life of linguistic elements. The aim of the research is to compare linguistic views of M. Kruszewski’s and of other linguists representing naturalistic school of the XIX-th century and to define if M. Kruszewski belongs to naturalistic school.
