Annotation
This study is devoted to modeling a speech-genre portrait of a teacher’s linguistic personality, taking into account its communicative and pragmatic determination by the conditions of virtual pedagogical discourse. The relevance of the issues stated in the work is determined by two provisions: firstly, the inclusion of this research
in the scientific paradigm of discursive linguistics, in its field, which is associated with the description of speech utterance as a product of discursive activity; secondly,
the involvement of the research being undertaken in the field of digital didactics related to the organization of the educational process in the context of digitalization of education. The purpose of this study is to recreate a speech-genre portrait of a virtual language personality of a teacher. The scientific hypothesis of the work is as follows: the speech-genre portrait of a virtual language personality of a teacher is based, on the one hand, on an invariant set of communicativ strategies and speech genres actualized by them, which are supported by the institutional nature of pedagogical discourse, on the other hand, on a variable set of communicative-speech tactics and speech genres actualized by them, the degree of manifestation of which is determined by the virtual nature of the realized discourse and the factors caused by this circumstance. The leading method of discursive analysis is based on the description of virtual pedagogical discourse, taking into account the linguistic means of organizing speech utterance and the social context behind the text. The empirical basis of the study is Internet correspondence in the school chat, formed on social networks with the participation of teachers and students. As a result of the conducted research, it was revealed that within the framework of virtual pedagogical discourse, in the presence
of an invariant set of communicative strategies and speech genres actualized by them, which are characteristic of pedagogical discourse and are predetermined by its general intention and the institutional role of participants, variability in the choice of tactics of these strategies and speech fervors actualized by them is revealed. The results obtained in the study make a definite contribution to the development of discursive linguistics, digital didactics, and speech genre studies, and can be applied in the practice of planning and implementing a teacher’s professional activities in online communication.
