Annotation
The article features technology of Russian as a foreign language (RFL) teachers training to solve professional tasks, in particular, the selection and linguodidactic analysis of original (authentic) texts. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that modern teachers need to develop educational materials in a dynamically changing environment, and students as future RFL specialists — need to master the relevant competencies in order to achieve a high level of proficiency. The study applies methods of pedagogical and methodological design, as well as methods of linguodidactic, cultural and philological text analysis, semantic analysis of language, etc. The article demonstrates a step-by-step solution to such specific tasks as the selection of teaching material and its analysis for the purpose of further methodological development.
In particular, it is shown that the selection of teaching material can be carried out in several steps: 1) establish educational conditions and selection criteria; 2) determine the text parameters; 3) find reliable sources; 4) select the text(s); 5) check the text(s) with the selection criteria. For the didactic analysis of language material, the following actions are advisable: 1) define key words necessary for understanding the main idea of the text; 2) identify words and language structures known and new for students; 3) define words and expressions which meaning can be guessed by applying various cognitive strategies; 4) establish language units to be studied; 5) minimize the educational material. The step-by-step algorithm for solving professional tasks developed by the author, presenting voluminous methodological material in a clearly structured form, allows international students — future teachers of RFL — to more effectively master the practical skills teachers need for everyday work with specific students in the real educational process. The materials proposed in this publication will also be useful for training RFL teachers courses.
